Our team took off yesterday from Atlanta to begin the trip to Dallas and made a quick afternoon stop in Montgomery! After spending a night in New Orleans, we’re hitting the road again today to drive the final stretch. Any places we should visit along the way?
Our team is packing up in Atlanta to head home for winter break! We’ll be spending a couple of weeks at home before venturing down to Dallas, where we’ll be opening on January 11th. We’ll have our detailed itinerary for you soon!
We raised a glass at breakfast this morning to toast to our Atlanta Class Reps, Lauren and Meagan. The two Atlanta natives and really showed us the ropes while we were in town!
We wrapped up our event at the Goat Farm with a lively performance by Great Peacock. The duo made the journey from Nashville to Atlanta for the event, and were driving back late that evening. We’re thrilled that they were able to make the trip down just for us!
To celebrate our arrival in Atlanta, we planned an evening at the Goat Farm Arts Center, a 12-acre compound that serves as a visual and performing arts space. Over four hundred artists utilize studio space there, with about thirty renting work-live spaces.
If we hadn't been met by three knowledgeable guides, we probably would've wandered aimlessly through the space and felt as if it were an abandoned. Luckily, we had the guidance of Mark, Justin and Tian when we arrived. The three gave us a tour of the charmingly worn property. (more...)
We’ve managed to take breaks for exercise, lunch and a bit of holiday shopping, but there’s one thing that we just haven’t made time for since kicking off our trip—a haircut.
Being on the road has meant that we’ve been away from some of the comforts of home, but the hospitality at the Loews Hotel has made us feel welcome in both Nashville and Atlanta. One thing that we’ve really loved about being here is being able to use the gym!
When we heard that Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q would be providing appetizers at our launch party, we knew we’d also have to stop in to the restaurant for a sit down meal. The restaurant, started by Jonathan and Justin Fox, is considered to serve the best barbecue in Atlanta.
Never having been to Atlanta before, our team arrived and wasn’t sure where to begin. There seemed to be an endless number of places to eat and drink, visit and shop. Thankfully, we discovered Bearings, a perfectly curated guide to the south, with a specific Atlanta edition. Jeremy Blume, one of the founders, gave us a personal tour of the West Provisions District before our party at the Goat Farm.
We’re wrapping up our time here in Atlanta and will be departing for a winter break on Sunday evening! Our team will be in Atlantic Station from 11am-7pm on Friday and Saturday, and until 5pm on Sunday. We’d love to have you stop by and see us in the next couple of days!
